10 days Kenya and Tanzania Safari

This package will offer you the experience of both Kenya and Tanzania safaris. In Kenya you will experience Nakuru national park and Masai mara game reserve, and in Tanzania you will start with Lake Victoria then Serengeti, Ngorongoro and mostly the experience with Hadzabe Bushmen at Lake Eyasi

Day 1 Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park in the Great Rift Valley passing through the highlands of Kenya. Arrive in time for lunch. Take a game drive in the park before retiring for the rest of the day in Lodge or Tented Camp.

Major attractions

The Lake Nakuru National Park is home to a huge colony of flamingo (greater and lesser flamingos), Lions, Antelopes, Zebras, giraffes, Hyenas, Cheetahs, Monkeys, Baboons   and the endangered black Rhino.

Day 2 Lake Nakuru- Masai Mara

Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to Maasai Mara Game Reserve arriving at the Lodge in time for lunch. Depart soon after lunch taking a slow drive to Lodge with game drive en route game drive to the lodge for Dinner and overnight

Day 3 – 4 Masai Mara Game Reserve

These two days you will spend in Maasai Mara, Kenya’s most popular game sanctuary where you will have the best opportunity of spotting the Big Five (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). Morning and afternoon game drives with the option of visiting a local Maasai village. All meals and overnight at Lodge

The Masai Mara is famous for the great wildebeest migration from Serengeti national park in Tanzania consisting of wildebeests, Zebras, Gazelles, Antelopes, giraffes, Hyenas, Cheetahs, Monkeys, Baboons, Lions, buffaloes etc

Day 5 Masai Mara- Lake Victoria

Early departure from the Masai Mara – drive to the border with Tanzania, border formalities. Start your Tanzania safari with a visit to Speke Bay, only two hours away from the border. Arrive at Speke Bay Lodge in the afternoon – relax or take a boat ride on the lake. Dinner & Overnight at Logde

Day 6 Lake Victoria – Serengeti National park

Depart from SpekeBay after breakfast and drive to the Serengeti – full day game-drive with a packed lunch, you will arrive at Serengeti

Day 7 Serengeti

After breakfast, you begin a full day game drive from western Serengeti to  Central  part of Park, exploring more places including Seronera Area , Seronera river, all offering a variety of wildlife and unique scenic landscape. In the afternoon you will start heading to Western Side of Serengeti for dinner and overnight at Mbalageti Safari Lodge or other like, located near the route of Wildebeest Migration. After long day of driving, relax yourself in your private outdoor bath or simply enjoy an evening tea/coffee at pool deck overlooking the plains of Serengeti

 Day 8 Serengeti-Ngorongoro

An early morning start in the Serengeti to try and find cats before they retreat away from the blazing sun during the day.  After a morning game drive in the Serengeti drive to the Ngorongoro Crater Overnight on the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater

Day 9 Ngorongoro – Lake Eyasi

This morning you will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater – a wonderful haven for wildlife.  Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife live within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily.  Rhino, in particular, can be seen regularly as well as prides of lion and other predators like cheetah.  Enjoy a day game drive including private picnic lunch by the hippo pond.Late afternoon drive to Lake Eyasi for dinner and overnight Overnight

Day 10 Lake Eyasi to Arusha

We leave Early in the morning before Breakfast and join ‘Hadzabe’ for Hunting,Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. After all activities you will drive to Arusha for dinner and overnight
