7 Days Kilimanjaro, 9 Days Safari and 5 Days Zanzibar

Day 1 arrive Arusha

We will pick you at the Kilimanjaro international airport (JRO) and take you to your hotel in Arusha

Day 2 Machame camp

We will drive you to Machame gate in the early morning and introduce you to your guides, the cook and the porters. The trail first leads through a dense tropical forest, followed by tall grasses and giant heather. Later we’ll be walking on a ridge, down to our left Semira stream, to our right Weruweru stream. This day’s goal is Machame Camp for dinner and overnight. We will have climbed 6-7 hours and up to 3000m that day.

Day 3 Shira camp

The third day’s climb runs alongside a long moraine beneath the glaciers on Kibo’s western slope. We will stay over night at Shira Camp. We will have climbed about 6 hours and up to 3840m that day.

Day4 Baranco camp

A steady 6 to 7-hour walk between lava massifs takes us up to the Lava Tower pass (4750 m.) for acclimatization. The way takes us along the Grand Baranco, an immense canyon. Passing waterfalls fed by streams coming from Kibo, we proceed to Baranco Camp where we stay for dinner and over night. We will have climbed up to 3940m that day.

Day 5 Karanga camp

The cliff that we got to climb this morning looks imposing – the porters use to call it ‘breakfast’ when they’re joking. But the route doesn’t present any difficulty. It’s a 6 to 7 hour walk through valleys from Baranco to Karanga camp for hot lunch, dinner and overnight.

Day 6 Barafu camp

After breakfast in the morning we start moving to the base camp Barafu for lunch dinner and overnight. It will take 3 to 5 hours walk

Day 7 Summit – Mweka camp

We get up at midnight and after a light breakfast we are ready for the way to the summit. We take on the steep slope leading to the summit through Ratzel and Rebmann glaciers. At dawn we arrive on the rim of the crater between Stella point and Hans Meyer point. Just one more hour to the summit we will reach it along a path that’s often snowy. Congratulations! You made it to Uhuru Peak up to 5895m. Let’s enjoy the moment and the view at sunrise before we start to descend. Our place for overnight is Mweka Camp.

Day 8 Mweka gate – Arusha

We descend from Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate where you will be rewarded with a certificate attesting your success at climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. It’s time to say good bye and go back to Arusha.

Day 9 Arusha Park

After breakfast drive to Arusha national park for full day game drive The park is well known for its Cape Buffalo, which are reputed to be particularly bad tempered, Other animals include: Elephant, Giraffe, Wart Hog, Gazelles of different types and Black and White Colobus Monkeys, in the evening drive back to Arusha

Day 10 Arusha – Tarangire

In the morning transfer to Tarangire national park for game viewing where you will see many animals such as Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, Raptors etc. lunch, dinner and overnight at Lodge

Day 11 Tarangire – Serengeti (Northern Serengeti)

 Leave Tarangire after breakfast for Olduvai Gorge. Have your lunch at Olduvai Gorge Museum. After lunch, visit various sites of the gorge to see where the famous archeologist Dr. L.S.B Leakey discovered the remains of historic man. Visit an old Maasai home on the day. Proceed to Serengeti Plains past Seronera and on to Lobo, with afternoon viewing. Dinner and overnight at lodge

Day 12 Serengeti

Woke up and have early breakfast then go for morning game drive along the Mara river, full day game drive and in the afternoon have your picnic lunch. In the evening drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight

Day 13 Serengeti central

After break fast go for full day game drive in central Serengeti, your accommodation will be at the Lodge

Day 14 Serengeti – Ngorongoro 

After breakfast go for morning game drive then in the afternoon drive back for lunch then transfer to Ngorongoro for dinner and overnight at the lodge

Day 15 Crater – Eyasi

After breakfast drive to Ngorongoro Crater, descend into the crater for full day game drive with your lunch boxes. After the full day game drive you will  see a lot of wild animals in the crater such as Black Rhino, Elephant, Buffalo, Lion, Cheetahs etc. then drive back to Lake Eyasi national park for dinner and overnight at Tented Camp

Day 16 Eyasi – Manyara

We leave Early in the morning before Breakfast join ‘Hadzabe’ for Hunting, Lake Eyasi is a very scenic soda lake found on the southern border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This less visited lake lies at the base of the Eyasi escarpment on the western rift valley wall. This afternoon you will be introduced to the extraordinary people who belong to an indigenous tribe known as the ‘Hadzabe’ (hunter-gatherer Bushmen). The tribe inhabits the shores of Lake Eyasi as do the Nilotic-speaking Datoga tribe. You will visit these tribes, which will include a visit to their homesteads, learn about their way of life, animal tracking, medicinal plants, and much more. After all activities you will drive to Lodge for Dinner and overnight

Day 17 Manyara – Zanzibar beach holiday

After breakfast go for game drive in Lake Manyara national park, The Park is famous for it’s tree climbing lions, a variety of birds at the shores of the lake as well as hippos. Then depart for airport ready for flying to Zanzibar for beach, dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day 18 – 20 Zanzibar

Activities will be arranged at the hotel depending on your choice, accommodation at the Hotel

Day 21 Zanzibar – Airport

This is the final day, depending on your flight schedule you may proceed with beach activitie and later transfer to the airport ready for taking your flight back home. End of your safari and we hope to see you again in Tanzania
